Rift Raid (R5) Ultimate BJ5 Guide

Follow this guide to achieve 100% safe and consistent team for Rift Raid Lv5. using the Baleygr and Janssen (BJ5) team.

You will need alot of Fight Rune Sets and atleast 5 sets of Will Runes for your monsters. Please check the list below to see what you will roughly need to keep in mind.

Any slower than that has the risk of the boss cutting between Loren and Baleygr, causing a wipe.

[Skill 3] CRIT DMG +6% adds ~520 last hit Damage.
2. ATK Increasing Effect:
ATK buff gives 50% ATK and is applied to your total ATK after all bonuses.
A 1% substat adds 0.5% to the buff, which is 1% of the 50% base.
ATK Increasing Effect +4% adds ~430 last hit Damage.
3. Additional Damage by X% of ATK:
The added damage is based on your total ATK with all bonuses including ATK buff.
The target's defense is not affect by this and is pure flat damage added to each hit.
Additional Damage by +4% ATK adds ~360 last hit Damage.
4. Additional Damage by X% of HP/DEF/SPD:
0.3% of HP / 4% of DEF/ 40% of SPD adds ~60 last hit Damage.

5. CRIT DMG Received -X%:
Great to use if your team is not surviving Raid Boss Damage.

Loren/Shaina

6. [Skill 1] CRIT DMG +X%:
[Skill 1] CRIT DMG +6% adds ~170 total Damage.
7. [Skill 2] CRIT DMG +X%:
[Skill 2] CRIT DMG +6% adds ~200 total Damage.

0.3% of HP / 4% of DEF/ 40% of SPD adds ~130 total Damage.
9. ATK Increasing Effect:
ATK Increasing Effect +4% adds ~100 total Damage.

[Skill 3] Accuracy +6% adds 6% DEF Break ACC.
Warning: Do not use any SPD+ Proportional to Lost HP up to X%, otherwise the Speed tuning will be ruined.

Damage & EHP with MAX Tower Charts

FAQ

Do I NEED Baleygr to do 32,000+ Damage and Loren or Shaina to do ~7,000+ Damage?
For best results, Baleygr should have ATLEAST 32,000+, but you can probably get away with Loren and Shaina.
If I can't run BJ5 with my current team, should I farm BJ4?
No, you should work towards a team that can do Raid R5, as the drops are much better and your energy should be saved for this.
Can I Use Second Awakened (2A) Jultan instead of Loren/Shaina?
Yes. He will work in the Frontline but his DEF Break chances are lower than Loren and Shaina.
Is Will Rune NEEDED for Colleen, Dagora, Baleygr, Loren/Shaina/Jultan?
Yes. Will runes are needed for preventing Raid Boss initial attack to land oblivion on your team. However, Colleen can do Fight Runes x6 IF your Baleygr can do enough damage to be 100% safe, since Loren/Shaina may go before Colleen moves due to the Speed Debuff from Raid Boss initial attack.
Where can I find more people to do BJ5 with?
Global/Europe: Channel 65
Asia: Channel 333.
Do I need to MAX all my towers?
MAX Towers aren't required but they are recommended for smooth runs, so try to MAX them asap. Check the table charts to get a reference.
Can I use Elsharion lead with no Rica lead?
Yes, if your party has all Baleygr with 77%/81% Crit Rate, then you can use Kahli/Lupinus leads respectively.
Can I run solo BJ5 with additional placement?
You can, but it is risky.
